Regular groups and clubs

At Lymley woods we know from experience the transformative power of outdoor learning and adventure activities. We are happy to run regular clubs in school holidays as well as spacialist programme for those who may be struggling at school.

Teenagers are often the in most need of the opportunity to play learn explore and develop in an outdoors environment. Our adventure activities are designed to challenge teens and support communication, leadership and team work skills.

Additionally, coming to Lymley Woods gives them a screen-free experience,  enabling teens to disconnect in order to reconnect with themselves, each other and nature.

Our screen free ethos means that there are no phones allowed at the woods, no tablets, no WhatsApp, no charging points...nothing! Yes, they may protest and they may moan, but we find that keeping to this rule helps the young people relax and detach form the relentless virtual world and take the chance to communicate in real time and in real life!

Holiday clubs at Lymley Wood are provided FREE OF CHARGE for children who come from vulnerable groups or who are on free school meals. This fits with our ethos of inclusion and opportunity for all. Funding is provided via East Sussex County Council.

Other options for school and youth groups are camps and residentials.

Options include days trips,1, 2 or 3 night camps.
