Young People & Youth Groups
We love teenagers!
At Lymley woods we know from experience the transformative power of outdoor learning and adventure activities. Teenagers are often the in most need of the opportunity to play learn explore and develop in an outdoors environment. Our adventure activities are designed to challenge teens and support communication, leadership and team work skills.
Additionally, coming to Lymley Woods gives them the experience of being screen free for a day, enabling teens to disconnect in order to reconnect with themselves, each other and nature. Our screen free ethos means that there are NO phones allowed at the woods, no tablets, no whats app, no insta, no snapchat, no charging points, NOTHING!! Yes they may protest, yes they will moan, but we find that keeping to this rule helps the young people relax and detach form the relentless virtual world and actually take the chance to communicate in real time and in real life!
Oh, and no phones for staff or adults either… (Emergency contact phones available for safety reasons)
