An introductory or refresher course on the essentials of safeguarding and child protection, specific to working in outdoors environments.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Gain confidence in handling concerns and disclosures

• Explain your Safeguarding and Child Protection responsibilities

• Know how to recognise the signs and symptoms of abuse

• Discuss the specific challenges when working outdoors

• Gain knowledge about the legal background to Safeguarding Children

A perfect chance to discuss with peers particular issues in keeping children safe when working outdoors.

All attendees will receive a Certifcate that ensures compliance with your organisations Safeguarding Policy.
